Where life & loss belong.

A different approach to
suicide prevention.

Postvention is prevention.

Postvention means support after a suicide loss. The Kita Center strengthens individuals and communities impacted by suicide to help prevent future suicides.

Raise more than awareness.
Raise communities.

Our work is grounded in the belief that grief is not only about pain, and that healing happens through relationships.

Our programs balance loss with restoration, helping people integrate grief into their lives with meaning, connection, and hope.

True to our mission, we create opportunities for connection in the isolating aftermath of suicide loss: connection to your loved one, your story, a supportive community, and the healing power of nature.

Be Part of the Story

There are many ways to be a part of the Kita story. Find your opportunity:

I’m seeking programs, resources, or community to help me or my family on our healing journey.

Kita is one of a kind and I’m just in awe at how powerful the experience is. I am so glad we found it.
