Fundraising Commitment: As a condition of being granted our charity entries by the B.A.A. and Bank of America, a commitment of $10,00 is required to join The Kita Center/ Camp Kita’s marathon team and receive an individual entry for the 2025 Boston Marathon®.
Valid credit card information must be included with your application to apply for the The Kita Center/ Camp Kita team. The minimum fundraising requirement must be met by each runner by the date of the marathon, April 21, 2025. The Kita Center/ Camp Kita reserves the right to charge your credit card for the delinquent balance on Monday, April 21, 2025 or if I withdraw from the program after January 1, 2025. I understand that if accepted, I am solely responsible for raising or personally giving the minimum commitment of $10,000 even if for any reason, including injury or event cancellation, I am unable to run 2025 Boston Marathon.

B.A.A Running and Registration: For purposes of clarity, each runner entrant that has been selected will be required to register themselves for the Marathon; pay all applicable Marathon application processing and entry fees charged by the Boston Athletic Association (the “B.A.A.”) in connection with registering for the Marathon (the “Marathon Fees”); and agree to all waivers and terms and conditions required by the B.A.A. Any violations of these terms and conditions will result in disqualification of the entrant.
I understand that all funds raised will support The Kita Center/ Camp Kita and that an additional Boston Marathon Application (B.A.A.) fee of $375 (plus optional insurance) will also be required, payable to the Boston Athletic Association. I understand that the B.A.A. application fee does not count toward my total fundraising amount.
The Kita Center/ Camp Kita will inform me of the details of B.A.A. registration. This fee will be collected separately at a later date. I will not contact the B.A.A. directly to secure my number.
I agree that I will not begin the race prior to the official start time; I will not compete in a manner which, in the judgment of the race officials, interferes with race operations or other participants; I will not reproduce or transfer my official bib number.
I confirm that I will train to be able to complete the Boston Marathon (26.2 miles) within six hours.
